Playing to a unique par 72 and stretching 6,768 metres, the course features stunning water hazards on 11 holes, adding both beauty and complexity. At Bryanston, birdies are hard-earned, and mastering the art of hitting fairways and greens is key to conquering this exciting and rewarding layout.

Booking Procedures

All bookings are done online, telephonically on +27(0)11 021-1992 or via email at golfbookings@bryanstoncc.co.za
Groups looking to play must make contact via email and will be sent all relevant details with an invoice, which must be paid in full 5 days prior to their game

Cancellations & No Shows

Cancellations: Must be made 48 hours (weekdays) or 96 hours (weekends) in advance. Late cancellations incur charges.
No shows: Charged full green fees and competition fees (if applicable); repeated no-shows may lead to disciplinary action.

Playing Times & Guests

Monday: Course is open for the Afternoon Field.
Tuesday–Friday: Members and guests may play (some restrictions apply).
Saturday: Members only; guests only by special permission if space is available.
Sunday: Members may bring guests; booking essential for afternoon rounds.
Guests may only play twice a month, regardless of who invites them.

Green Fees & Payments

All players must register and pay at the Pro Shop; members show membership cards, guests show handicap cards.
Payment by card or member account; vouchers required for caddy/cart hire.

Competitions & Prizes

Competition entry fees are collected at the Pro Shop
Prizes are credited to member accounts or loaded onto a visitor account and can be redeemed in the Pro Shop

Club Rules & Conduct

Weekday tee times open 15 days in advance; weekend times open 8 days prior.
Members should be ready to play when it is their turn and walk briskly between shots.
Players must walk directly to their ball without lingering or talking to fellow golfers.
If a ball is lost, assist briefly in the search, then continue play or use a provisional ball if uncertain of the ball’s location.
After putting, leave clubs in a position that allows quick exit from the green and promptly leave the putting green.
Players should pick up their ball if they cannot contribute to their team’s score in a competition.
Members and guests must respect each other and staff, adhere to dress code, and use cell phones only in emergencies on course.
No drinks allowed in the changing room.
Complaints must be submitted in writing; serious issues may lead to disciplinary action.

Score Entry & Equipment

All Scores for competitions must be captured on ScoreCapture
No cards will be accepted for member competition days
Scores must be entered within 24 hours for handicap purposes
Golf club storage is available for a fee (the club is not responsible for lost items)

MEN’S GOLF

The men’s section at Bryanston Country Club plays a midweek Pro’s Competition every Thursday afternoon, along with morning and afternoon competitions on Saturdays.

The club fields seven strong league teams that compete fiercely in their divisions. Additionally, all members are invited to join the Tuesday School every Tuesday afternoon, teeing off from 11:15, offering a great opportunity for friendly play and skill development.

LADIES GOLF

BCC boasts a vibrant ladies’ section catering to golfers of all skill levels. Organised competitions and trophy events take place on Wednesday and Friday mornings, with social and fun formats tailored by the weekly committee members. For these, we encourage bookings at least a week in advance.

Saturday competitions are open to all full members, with bookings opening at 9am the Friday before.

JUNIOR GOLF

The Bryanston Country Club (BCC) has become the preferred club for juniors, thanks to its convenient location and active participation from some of the finest schools in the area. The club hosts a monthly junior competition on Sundays and currently fields two junior league teams, fostering an energetic and vibrant junior golf community.

This setup provides juniors with excellent opportunities to develop their golf skills in a supportive environment. For more details, interested parties can contact one of the club’s dedicated junior coaches:

MIXED GOLF

This is a popular Sunday afternoon event, usually held on the second Sunday of each month, though dates may vary according to club activities.

Couples and guests are warmly invited to participate in the Mixed Invitational, which concludes with a light meal and prize giving.

Our revamped practice facility, reopened in March 2022, is now one of South Africa’s premier golf training centres.

Our Pro Shop at BCC offers the latest golf equipment and apparel, together with exempt personalised service from our on-site Golf Professionals to assist members. Members can also benefit from our exclusive VIP Membership for added value.
To keep your game sharp, the Pro Shop provides free equipment evaluations by qualified PGA Custom Fitting Professionals. Clubs are available for hire, ideal for visitors and Corporate Golf Days.
Additionally, the Pro Shop supports Golf Days with competitively priced branded apparel and a wide range of stock, including exciting options for goodie bags and prizegiving, ensuring a memorable experience for all players and visitors alike.
